Synopsis

wizard cast on stage

"WIZARD" is a musical review centered on the works of "WIZARD OF OZ" composer Harold Arlen. The show unfolds in the mythical radio studios of W-Z-R-D, which combines the cutting edge of today's high tech studios with the format and live audience of 'yesteryears' earlier radio programs.

Sam Arlen, the composer's son, and host of W-Z-R-D'S radio show  "ABSOLUTELY ARLEN", weaves stories through production numbers with the help of W-Z-R-D'S in-house radio players;

THE THREE CROONERS,
MISSY/THE SPICE-O-DENT GIRL,
THE COTTON CLUB GIRLS.

Audiences are taken on a journey from the golden age of Hollywood, to the Broadway stage and through the Cotton Club years.
