

"WIZARD" is a musical review centered on the works of "WIZARD OF OZ" composer Harold Arlen. The show unfolds in the mythical radio studios of W-Z-R-D, which combines the cutting edge of today's high tech studios with the format and live audience of 'yesteryears' earlier radio programs.
Sam Arlen, the composer's son, and host of W-Z-R-D'S radio show "ABSOLUTELY ARLEN", weaves stories through production numbers with the help of W-Z-R-D'S in-house radio players;
Audiences are taken on a journey from the golden age of Hollywood, to the Broadway stage and through the Cotton Club years.
The finale includes rare, behind the scenes footage from "THE WIZARD OF OZ” plus the original Oscar won for the best song category, "SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW".
